As retailers look on to witness rising income levels, rapid urbanisation, fast economic progress and a population explosion in many countries across the continent the opportunities for growth are numerous. To get their share of the market retailers must tackle key obstacles including the dearth of real estate, challenging infrastructure, trade barriers and changing legislation.
