Honeywell Sensing and Productivity Solutions , Retail Sales Director for EMEA
Jason Burrell is the Retail Sales Director for EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) at Honeywell Scanning & Mobility. He is responsible for formulating the strategy to drive and measure retail sales across the region. He is responsible for developing strategy and is part of the Honeywell leadership team on technology, software, services and OEM partnerships and has ownership of the relationships with a number of global retailers.
Jason has more than 22 years experience in the IT Industry with several multinational companies. Prior to joining Honeywell through the recent acquisition of Intermec Technologies, Jason was previously the EMEA Sales Director at Tyco Sensormatic where he created a new business division focused around the Source Tagging and RFID of Electronic Article Surveillance solutions. During this period Sensormatic became the market leader in Source Tagging and developed and led the Council which created the standardization across the industry.
Customer success and service is his first priority and the foundation of the culture for his organization. Passionate about helping retailers achieve high levels of innovation and productivity through technology, Jason was part of the initial European working group based on Source Tagging. He has worked in partnership with many leading global retailers to understand and map out their business strategies with the objective to deliver a more productive service and experience for their clients.
Jason Burrell is a frequent speaker at industry events and has received awards for a number of campaigns within the industry. He holds a number of business certificates and is an active member of the Retail Industry.
Jason is based out of the UK and is a strong supporter of cancer research charities and is also involved in helping the ‘Hope & Kindness Children’s Home and School’ in Kenya for under-privileged children. He holds a Business Diploma and is currently working towards a MBA at Warwick University. He is a Vice President at his Rugby Union Club and also holds a rugby coaching qualification.
